INFORMATION FOR AOL USERS

We understand that many listeners using AOL service to access Family Radio's web site experience difficulties accessing our MP3 streams and viewing certian web pages. We have been testing this service and have discovered that the AOL browser constitutes many problems associated with multimedia.
The default AOL browser utilized much of our local system's resources. This may have been due to the many pop-up adds and programs running which utilized more bandwidth and resources.
If you wish to stay with your AOL service, we discovered the best way to avoid the constant rebuffering and connection drop-outs was by listening via the WINDOWS MEDIA link. This stream provides VBR access (Variable Bit Rate).
We also discovered that by downloading the WinAmp audio player and using Internet Explorer, in lieu of the default AOL browser, to access Family Radio's web site, we were able to listen to the MP3 streams without any interruptions.     For more information, address your concerns or questions to or call: 1-800-543-1495 x 377.
